KLCC Fashionista Benefit Workshop

Attend Benefit Workshop on Sat. My 1st makeup workshop. Got a few other workshops during KLCC Fashionista month and all for free. But i just managed to register for Benefit workshop. MAC all fully booked at that time. I'm just too bz to find it out earlier :( This is my 1st time goin to try Benefit cosmetics. Check it out!

I reached the Parkson entrance just on time coz took LRT to go there. Accompanied by Myo but he got his own project there :P Benefit counter is just right in front of the Parkson entrance. But I din go straight there as I'm still waiting for my fren, Nurul. I asked her to register same session with me so I've gang to chit chat during the workshop. Maybe I'm not used to be the lone ranger type :D

From outside I can saw the makeup artist look like ady started the session. Seems my fren is on her way, I just go to counter n join the rest. Can't see any familiar face except Von Von, the blogger. Right after I took my sit, the BA remove my makeup. "Y lar put make up goin make up workshop" the BA said. Hehehe. I dunno it's a hands-on session. I thought it's just makeup demo like MAC one T_T

While the BA is helping me to remove the makeup, Matt the makeup artist is introducing their latest product Stay Don't Stray, primer for eyeshadows + concealers. Oh i dun have pic of Matt but he's really a very good looking guy (^_~)

Really luv Benefit's packaging. Sooo cute n trendy! Wish I can collect them all. Hohoho. Suddenly remind me of Stila n Anna Sui. Their packaging also nice ;)

Then the makeup session started. Each of us was assist by a BA. My BA is Elaine. A very nice lady :) She showed me on each step how to apply the make up. She started with the eyes. Putting on the Stay Don't Stray on eyelids n under eyes. So my panda eyes disappear :P For e/s, she uses Big Beautiful Eyes palette for natural look. Inside the palette got 3 e/s, under-eye concealer n brushes.

Then put eye liner with BadGal Waterproof Eyelining Pencil. Until now I dunno how to put it properly :P I'm not an eye liner n concealer person. Simple makeup will do.

Elaine just did the makeup for half of my face. Then she asked me to do it myself. Since I'm very bad at makeup she did all for me. Hahahaha. Eyes part done! The she put the That Gal Face Brightening Primer. N u noe what? I ady fall in luv with this thing right after Elaine put it on my face. It's in pink color. The texture really2 smooth n the smell uhhh besttt. Like strawberry ice cream is all over my face :D U'll nvr know the feeling until u try it urself (^_~) So for now I just put it in my wish list 1st

Next, Elaine put on powder foundation, Hello Flawless! Another thing that can also go to my wish list. Huhuhu. For cheeks n lips, Elaine uses Posietint, cheeks n lips stain. It's look so natural. She also adds pink blusher, Dandelion. Oh yesss another thing I like. All luv at 1st sight *wink*

The last part is eyebrows using Brow Zings Kit. Got pigmented wax, natural shaded powder, tweezers, hard angle n blending brush inside. Quite nice.

And it's done! A very natural makeup. N i think i'm the last one there. Hohoho. But then I realize Elaine forgot to put on the mascara. I also forgot to ask her bout that. So I dunno how good is their mascara.

It's the 1st time I heard bout it. Can't imagine how the lintah crawling on my face n bite me until I saw pics in Nurul's hp. U can go to Nurul's blog as she got shared her experience there ;) But for the workshop she still can bring back her goodies bag as well!

The bracelet is so damn cool. It's like rockers but 'dalam hati ada taman' bracelet. ahaks. But i already knew by just looking at a glance. Of coz i cannot wear it coz my hand so small. Huwaaaa

Oh i also got this brochure. I said booklet but the BA can't understand. She said it's a brochure. Uhhh it is the same thing is it? Actually I asked for this. Not included in the goodies bag. Yes. I need to study one by one what else they have. I think I'm so in luv with Benefit.

The 1st thing that I'll get from Benefit. Benefit That Gal. RM129. Still need to finish my RMK foundation 1st. Maybe need to wait another 1 or 2 years more? Haihhh....dah la go to office 3 times a week. If lazy ++ twice a week. How lah to finish it?

The powder foundation. This one also need to wait until my Stila powder foundation finish. Until then just keep it in my list...

I think I cannot go to makeup/skincare workshop anymore. If not the items in my wishlist will keep increasing n can never stop :P

GoodSkin Labs Skincare Workshop

So lazy to update. Last Sat i went to Good Skin Lab Workshop organized by Women's Weekly. Got to know the info from Jess. Thanks Jess.






After register at the Garden Cafe entrance, we fill in the the details and take our breakfast provided by the organizer.

Nice place for participants to enjoy the workshop session. Like workshop in the garden ;)

Products used through out the hands-on product trial session. Put in the middle inside plastic box so that we can easily pick them up. Got 5 products to try on.

They also provide something like template that displayed products that will be used and the steps on how to apply each of them. We need to apply the products on the right side of our faces so that we can see the results clearly as they claim that their products will react instantly.

This lady whom i dunno her name is giving welcome speech and introduction bout GoodSkin Labs skincare.

Me without makeup after the session. So ugly. No pics taken during the hands-on session as i'm bz try this and that. Oh btw after we've finished put on the products on the right side of our face, there was a photographer came and took out pics. Like photoshoot. The pic was printed out and given to us after that so that we can see the difference between right and left side of the face. I already got my pic here which i dunno want to put here in blog or not. Malu laaa

LEFT: Citra-Peel Exfoliating Peel Pads. Got Citra-Peel Step 1 (resurfaces with low pH citric acid) and Step 2 (restores with pH neutralizer). It's for retextre the skin and just like wipe tissue. We just apply it on entire face. Pls forgive me coz i forgot to take the pics. And as u can see almost all pics here r dark n blur. Again pls forgive me coz i forgot to charge my camera :P

RIGHT: Eyliplex-2 (Fast Acting Day Gel and Long-Lasting Night Balm). Day gel for lift and tightens eye area. Night balm for fades dark circles. We only try day gel which is in green colour. Just apply it around eye. Blue cap for night and white cap for day. Just like soft lens case.

LEFT: Tri-Aktiline (Deep Wrinkle Filler) Plumps and smoothes wrinkles n lines. Just tap a small amount onto laugh lines n forehead lines. I got wrinkles or not??

RIGHT: Smooth-365 (Intensive Clarity+Smoothing Peptide Serum) for smoother and brighter skin. Can blend together with foundation to make it perfect. I got problem to blend it well on my uneven skin. Tell u the truth i look so ugly after apply it on my face. Huhuh

After the session, got touch up by their makeup artist. Only light makeup which of course I re-touch up by myself after that ;)

Also got RM50 voucher that only can be used on that day. I din buy anything as even after cut RM50 the price of the product still RM100++. I only brought RM50 that morning :P

Overall the workshop was ok for me. As as long i can gain new knowledge. Well conducted by them, nice venue and refreshments, lot of useful info and also great samples to try on. The interesting part was...got photoshoot after applying the products. It was just my photo look something wrong somewhere. Want to put pic here or not....want or not...

Clarins Power to Try Workshop

Finally I got the chance to go to Clarins workshop. For the 1st time n 1st skincare workshop i've ever attend since i was born :D It was held at Clarins Training Centre inside Amoda builing. It's just opposite TS (Time Square). Only now I know. All this while I just pass by that building n nvr know it's name is Amode. lol. Miu the blogger of Plus Size Kitten coordinating this session with Clarins and it's exclusively for her blog's readers n yess i'm one of them ;)


I came with Harim and Meor (the only guy in this workshop ;P ). It was the very last min plan. Luckily Harim can join me. Before we entered the training room, we got to sign in a form that listed the registered participants and....uhhh meor name was not there. Then i tot of just 'seludup' him inside. vip maaa. cannot leave him outside. lalala. After had discussion with Miu, my camera man can get in. fuhhh. if not who wants to help me to take pics then ;)

The workshop session started with a briefing from Erine (not sure how to spell her name :P) the presenter on that day. I think it's a good explanation for a newbie like me n makes me feelin so excited in getting know bout their products.


Clarins products


Pls don't laugh coz i'm on my way to put on the Gentle Facial Peeling ;P I luv this product so muchh. It's used to remove the dead cells after rubbing it off. My skin feel so smooth after using it.

We can try the products ourselves by following step by step techniques explained by Erine.

Me n Harim behind the mask :D I put on Pure & Radiant Mask while Harim put on Thirst Quenching Hydra-Care Mask. I really like this thing until feel like don't want to take it off. Feel so freshhh n feel like suddenly got a new look ;) Btw at this time i'm still fasting u noe. Don't worry. I didn't eat or lick any of the cream or liquid.

Of course no one stress i guess ;) It's an Auto-Lifting method using Clarins star product which is Shaping Facial Lift. Focusing on cheeks, eyes, forehead, chin, ears etc. It's a quicker way to a more youthful-looking face. The effective technique to apply the product. Quite interesting coz i nvr know there's such a step to apply skincare prods ;P

Took pics with Erine b4 we went back. She's such a nice lady n so friendly. I really enjoyed this workshop from start till the end within the 2hrs. The step by step techniques n type of product briefed by Arine were very clear n full of info.

I really like their tag line for this workshop "Power to Try". They gave us the freedom to try most of their skincare products. I enjoy trying each of them especially the Gentle Facial Peeling and Pure&Radiant Mask.

Got sample of HydraQuench Smoothing Gel and Shaping Facial Lift (their so-called hero product). I'm so happy as i nvr expect they will give sample in tube rather than in sachet. I loikeee!!


50% voucher for facial treatment. Yayyy!! My 1st facial treatment :) Normally the treatment will cost RM135 n now I can go for the treatment and it'll cost me half of the price. woww n again it's from Clarins!!!


A sample sachet for HydraQuenceh Cream-Mask. I really luv their mask. Nvr put on any mask before also. lol. but seriously I can feel the difference after put on it. Maybe I should buy for myself some other time.

• Learning - Of course I've gained so many useful info during the session. The explanation given is also very clear and easy to understand. Now I know the proper techniques to apply the skincare and the exact products range to use
  

• Service/Hospitality - The beauty assistants was very2 helpful and friendly. They even guiding me personally when I'm doing the wrong technique ;P
  

• Venue/Time - I've no problem with the place n time after know it's just opposite the Time Square ;)
  

• Food - Dunno the taste but look like very tempting n yummy licious
  

• Goodie bag - Awesome!! Luv all the samples n yess also the vouchers for facial treatment. Of course I dun wanna miss this opportunity to try the treatment.
  

• Promotions - They introduced their star products, Shaping Facial Lift. It becomes more interesting when we can choose any 2 Clarins skincare products. It's a good promotion for a newbie to try the effectiveness of the product chosen.
  

• Suggestions/Comments - As this is my 1st skincare workshop experience I can say it's an awesome workshop and I've got lot of exposure on Clarins products. I hope Clarins can organize another workshop for bodycare or make up.
